GOVERNOR HEALEY SIGNS EMERGENCY PREAMBLE FOR NEW GUN LAW—MASSACHUSETTS
The Governor of Massachusetts, Maura Healey signed emergency preamble effectively putting the new gun law into effect right away. There were over 85,000 signatures to suspend the law until the November 2026 ballot to put the question to the voters in order to repeal the bill. Governor Maura Healey went against the will of her constituents in Massachusetts.
By her doing this in my opinion Governor Maura Healey “is a threat to Democracy” that they always claim Donald J. Trump is. This proves that when the Democrats are losing that they will subvert the will of the people and continue doing that if we continue letting them do that. This is what tyrants have done throughout the history of mankind until the people get fed up. For right now we still have the courts on our side, unlike that our forefathers didn’t and that is why they had to have a Revolutionary War. Until that day happens we still have the courts. I don’t know what will happen if we did not have the courts too. NEW ZEALAND SHOWS WHY THE UNITED STATES SHOULD GET RID OF FIREARMS LICENSES AND GUN REGISTRIES—October 19, 2024
A recent police operation in New Zealand resulted in the revocation of firearms licenses from 62 individuals connected to the Sovereign Citizens movement. The movement, which rejects the authority of the government, was flagged by the Police Security Intelligence and Threats Group during an investigation aimed at assessing potential threats to law enforcement personnel. The operation, known as Operation Belfast, identified 158 firearm license holders influenced by Sovereign Citizen ideologies, with 62 having their licenses revoked for failing to meet the legal standards under the Arms Act.
Sovereign Citizens, often referred to as SovCits, believe they are not subject to government laws and regulations, which has caused growing concern among law enforcement. Police National Intelligence director Dr. Dan Wildy explained that the operation focused on ensuring police officers were not at risk when engaging with those holding firearm licenses. Of the identified group, some voluntarily surrendered their licenses, while others had their licenses revoked or were under review.
The operation was partly driven by findings from a 2021 police intelligence report, which highlighted the potential for violent extremism motivated by Sovereign Citizen beliefs. Although no charges were laid in most cases, the revocation of licenses was seen as a precautionary measure to reduce the risk of spontaneous acts of violence against government authorities during routine legal or regulatory enforcement.
COMMENTARY:
The New Zealand case of firearms licenses being revoked from Sovereign Citizen movement members offers a clear warning against implementing gun licensing and registration schemes in the U.S. The core issue is the potential for government overreach, where individuals can be targeted based on their political beliefs or affiliations rather than any actual criminal behavior. In New Zealand, the revocations occurred without criminal charges in most instances, suggesting that political ideology alone can be sufficient grounds for losing the right to bear arms under such a scheme.
This situation illustrates how licensing and registration create a system where the government has significant control over who is deemed “fit” to own firearms, which could lead to biased or politically motivated decisions. In the U.S., where the Second Amendment protects the right to bear arms, introducing licensing could undermine that constitutional protection by giving the government too much discretion. If such policies were adopted, it could allow authorities to selectively revoke gun rights from groups or individuals based on ideologies or perceived risks, eroding the fundamental freedoms that Americans hold dear.
Ultimately, the New Zealand example shows that licensing and registration systems can easily become tools of control, where subjective judgment plays too large a role in determining who can exercise their rights. To preserve liberty and prevent potential government overreach, the U.S. should avoid following similar paths when it comes to firearm ownership.

Toby Leary at Cape Gun Works has said he has learned that Governor Maura Healey is going to do the Unconstitutional and tyrannical use of going against the will of the people by signing an emergency preamble on October 02, 2024 to basically suspend us from stopping the bill because she knows we will have the signatures. It is a title of “Modernizing Gun Laws”. It does more than that. If you have a semiautomatic rifle and or shotgun and you only have an FID (Firearms Identification Card) you can no longer possess those firearms, because there is no grandfathering. Mental Health Records Request:
According to this legislation, documents provided to the Department of Criminal Justice Information Services must not include any information about a person’s medical or psychiatric diagnosis, treatment plans, mental health medications, mental health care providers, or other clinical information.
This means that when mental health records are requested or shared under this law, they must exclude detailed clinical information to protect individuals’ privacy.—Violates Federal HIPAA laws
Red Flag Law Expansion:
It expands the “red flag” law, allowing courts to take guns away from individuals deemed a threat to themselves or others.—Goes against the 4th Amendment because it is now a civil matter where you have to provide your own lawyer after they do an ex parte hearing without you being notified before the judge issues the warrant and they kick in your door in early morning and shoot your dog or shoot you if you think someone is breaking into your house.
Ghost Guns: The law includes new strategies to combat untraceable “ghost guns” and 3-D printed firearms.—can still make guns as long as you get a serial number from the state system by a computer portal request if you have a LTC (License to Carry). A “Ghost Gun” is just a scare tactic, which is an unserialized firearm. Which federally you can do without a serial number for personal use. Can never be transferred according to the Feds, which I don’t know how state can go against federal regulations when Constitution says that basically whatever the federal government has not regulated goes to the states. But federal law already address the issue according to the ATF. That should be a conflict of interest right there.
Community Violence Prevention Task Force:
A task force will be created to review and maximize federal funding for community violence prevention programs. This task force will operate under the Executive Office of Health and Human Services. —so they want criminals to not go to prison.
Violence Prevention Programming:
The legislation includes measures to enhance violence prevention programming across the state, aiming to reduce gun violence and improve public safety.—want to keep people out of prison. And basically make it so you have to pay for the program as a gun owner. Through fees and taxes.
Firearm Control Advisory Board:
The law establishes a Firearm Control Advisory Board within the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security. This board will consist of seven members, including the director of the firearms record bureau and the attorney general. —They want to control what you buy.

SECOND AMENDMENT NEWS STORY OUT OF MARYLAND, DC CONCERNING STRAW PURCHASES THAT COULD OF THOUGHT THEY WERE NOT STRAW PURCHASES BY 3 GUN STORES
We have a dimwit Maryland, DC Attorney General trying to sue 3 gun stores out of business because of straw purchases. The guy didn’t buy the guns all at once. He bought them over a period of time back in 2021. All this is a money grab. That’s all. They want to get money and they aren’t going to give the money to the people. It’s just going to go into their pockets and them loonies who are the antigun groups. The gun stores should run with the Supreme Court Bruen decision because back in 1791 there were no laws that said how many guns could be sold to a person in such and such amount of time. Like I said it’s to get the Democrat’s bases fired up and scare them into trying to push the antigun agenda. They cannot get any money from the guys in jail, so that’s all it is.
